The Church in Barchi

The Village of Barchi, situated in a lonely valley, was abandoned decades ago. Many of the houses have been refurbished recently for use as vacation homes. The village church remains as it was when the last of the original inhabitants left. Mass is celebrated in the church once a year. Otherwise, it remains locked. Leaves blow on the cold stone floor.
